Apple has released a surprise update to its iOS 7 beta, which comes with fixes for iTunes in the Cloud as well as some other tweaks and improvements. The new iOS 7 beta 6 arrives alongside rumours that Apple will be seeing a golden master version on 5 September.
iOS 7 beta 6 was seeded on Thursday, surprising developers because Apple has released its previous iOS 7 beta builds at the beginning of the week. According to Apple's Developer Center, the seed fixes an issue with iTunes in the Cloud that caused purchases download or play unexpected items.
The beta follows a report from BGR yesterday, which said that iOS 7 beta 6 could be followed by a GM (golden master) that will be seeded to select insiders on 5 September for testing.
Also this week, Apple updated the iCloud.com beta site for developers, bringing design elements from iOS 7 such as the background, fonts and icons, to the upcoming site.
Apple unveiled the redesigned iOS 7 in June at its WWDC 2013. To find out more about what to expect from iOS 7, check out our iOS 7 preview.
