Scottish Mac chain, Scotsys, has announced another in its series of free seminars, to be held jointly with Apple and Adobe.
This free event focuses on design and publishing and should be of particular interest to professionals in that and associated fields.
The seminar takes place in Glasgow on 10 October and aims to provide attendees with an overview of recent advances in technologies from both companies that will help improve workflow and productivity.
Apple will discuss new developments on the Mac, and talk about industry trends in such fields as image capture, PDF workflow, file format standardisation and colour management. The company will stress those Mac OS X technologies and applications designed to cater for the emerging future of publishing, including Aperture.
Adobe will offer attendees a chance to see its Adobe Creative Suite 3 application suites in action, with an explanation of how new features could help them,
