The next two months seem set to be busy in the Apple world. Reports are suggesting that September could see Apple launch new iPods (in time for the Chrismas rush) as well as the European version of the iPhone.

The long anticipated launch of the iPhone in parts of Europe could coincide with the Apple Expo Paris, which will be held from 25-29 September.

However, it should be noted that while the Expo event last year coincided with Apple’s launch of new iPods no launch event took place at the Paris show. Instead Apple held a launch event in London where its head office is situated.

Other reports are suggesting that Apple is intending to launch the iPhone at its London Regents Street Store on 1 November. This date is a week after the MacLiveExpo in London’s Olympia and also close to the date that the company opened its first store in London.

Another report hints that Apple is set to launch new iPod nano colours - red wine, and a lighter blue and green shade will join black and silver. iPods are expected to be launched in September in time for the Christmas shopping rush.

October is also set to see the launch of Mac OS X version 5 – known as Leopard.
