Apple has reached a new partnership that should widen its product presence in India.
Apple has reached an agreement with Wipro Infotech in which the latter firm will sell Apple's entire range of products in India, including its consumer, professional, enterprise and entertainment solutions.
Part of the reason for the deal is Wipro Infotech's strong service and support network in the country, with 24 offices, 200 partners and a 174-strong service network to back things up.
Wipro Infotech will create a specialised Apple team to facilitate the sales, MacNN adds.
Also in India, a report in The Financial Express claims Apple to in negotiation with Reliance Retail to bring an Apple-branded retail store to the country.
