Two new Apple Authorized Resellers have opened for business in Beijing, China, with another expected to open in late December.
Both shops opened on November 26, in central Beijing (Donghuan Plaza) and in a northeastern suburb of the capital (Shunyi).
The shop in Donghuan Plaza is in a relatively urban part of Beijing, next to the Swissotel, the Workers Stadium (a venue for the 2008 Olympic Games), the recently completed New Poly Plaza and the existing Poly Plaza.
The shop in Shunyi is situated at Pinnacle Plaza in an area with a high population of foreign expatriates, near to Beijing Capital Airport. The shop has signs in English and is able to accept foreign credit card payments.
To mark both openings, the shops gave the first 30 customers a free 512MB iPod shuffle when they purchased an iPod nano.
The next shop expected to open in Beijing will be situated in Wangjing, an area that's populated by many Korean nationals.
