Apple has confirmed it will webcast its 22 October financial results conference call.

The company will declare its fourth quarter and full financial year business performance on Monday at 2pm (PDT) (10pm UK time).

Apple will provide live audio streaming of its FY 07 Fourth Quarter Results Conference Call using QuickTime. The live audio webcast will be accessible through Apple’s website.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial estimate Apple will earn 85 cents a share on $6.05 billion in revenue for the quarter, compared to a profit of 62 cents a share on $4.84 billion in revenue in the year ago quarter.

Mac, iPod and iPhone sales are expected to be strong, with the Mac platform gaining market share across worldwide markets, and Apple becoming the third largest US PC supplier according to both Gartner and IDC.

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster expects Apple to reports Mac sales of between 2.1 million and 2.2 million units for the quarter.
