Car manufacturer Audi has introduced iPhone support in its Audi Music Interface system in the US, according to What Car?.
Audi UK is likely to emulate its US arm, the report claims, explaining the company is in talks with Apple to do this.
The system is capable of working with iPhone for making calls hands-free. Users can accept or reject calls, and the car dashboard also displays signal strength and can transfer across the iPhone's contact list.
The new Audi Music Interface is available for the A5, A6, A8 and Q7 ranges of cars. The interface will connect with the iPod features of the iPhone, and also supports iPods.
