Apple may clinch a deal with Mobistar to introduce the iPhone into Belgium.

Mobistar is Belgium's second-largest mobile phone operator. The company's chief executive Benoit Scheen this morning confirmed that a deal could be made this year, but warned that such a deal wasn't guaranteed, as "Belgium was not a priority for Apple," Reuters reports.

News of the potential deal emerges as rumours claim Apple may introduce the iPhone to the Swiss, Spanish and Italian markets, with speculation claiming these introductions may be announced to coincide with a key mobile trade event in Barcelona next week.
