Carphone Warehouse expects to sell 10,000 iPhones when the device is launched in the UK.
While O2 has secured exclusive rights as mobile network provider for the iPhone, Apple in the UK is also working with Carphone Warehouse in order to boost its new product's retail presence.
The device will also be made available through Apple's own physical and online retail stores.
Carphone Warhouse's head of wireless Darren Gardner expects his company's 800 stores across the UK should be able to shift 10,000 iPhones in the first week, Reuters reports.
The device will go on sale at 6pm on Friday, with Carphone shops due to stay open for four hours, the report explains.
"We will hope to represent a big share of what is sold," Gardner said.
