Griffin Technology showed us its new Twenty audio amplifier at CES Unveiled last night. The device uses AirPort Express to allow connected speakers to play music wirelessly from any AirPlay-enabled iOS device.
The Twenty's name comes from the fact that it's rated at 20W per speaker. It's a 2.1-channel system, and also supplies power. It has a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, and signal-to-noise ratio of 95dB.
The device streams Apple Lossless sound from AirpPlay-enabled sources, so the sound quality should be good.

Griffin also demonstrated the StudioConnect, a product for connecting musical instruments to an iPad, helping musicians to compose tracks on GarageBand. StudioConnect will launch in spring. Griffin said it will retail for around $150; UK launch details are not yet available, although the firm assured us it will launch in our neck of the woods in due course.
