London's City Lit adult education college is offering a four-week, part-time evening course in use of iTunes and the iPod.

The course is for Mac and Windows users and covers all aspects of Apple's leading media distribution and playback software and devices.

Topics covered include: how to rip CDs into iTunes, synchronising music between Mac and iPod automatically and manually, creating regular and smart playlists, understanding the iTunes menus and iPod controls, adding artwork and lyrics to songs, backing up songs and purchases, burning CDs/DVDs and printing CD artwork in iTunes.

The evening course takes place on Monday evenings and extends for four weeks, or four sessions in total. The course is taught using iMac G5's equipped with Boot Camp, meaning participants can choose to use either Windows or Mac OS X. Students must bring their own iPod.

City Lit is at Keeley Street in Covent Garden. The course begins Monday 16 June at 6:15pm (until 9:15pm). It costs £95 (£49 concessions).
