Matt Hamblen of NetworkWorld, Macworld's sister title, takes a closer look at Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, which boasts a 10.1-inch display and weighs just 590g.

The 10.1in tablet runs Android 3.0 - also known as Honeycomb - like Motorola's Xoom. It has a 1,280x800 touchscreen display and is slightly thinner and a few grams lighter than the iPad 2.

It comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and connects to the web using Wi-Fi and 3G.

It boasts USB 2.0 ports, a rear facing 3MP camera with a flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
