Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile division has confirmed 70,000 iPhone sales since the device went on sale in Germany.
The iPhone is by far the most sold multimedia device in T-Mobile's portfolio," said Philipp Humm, the head of T-Mobile in Germany, commenting on the 11 weeks of sales figures.
French operator France Telecom has previously confirmed sales of more than 70,000 iPhones since November 28, when they shipped.
Meanwhile, in the UK the Financial Times reports that O2 has sold 190,000 iPhones, 10,000 shy of its original sales targets.
O2 has refused to respond to that claim, saying instead is is: "Delighted with the response to the iPhone, which has seen unprecedented levels of customer satisfaction”.
