disgo has announced the launch of the disgo TV Go, an Internet TV and radio player, promising to provide access to 1000’s of TV and radio channels from around the world.

Dedicated TV and radio channels are being adopted by a number of companies and broadcasters to offer an alternative to terrestrial or satellite programming insists the company.  The disgo TV Go opens up more than 1,800 live television channels and over 10,000 radio stations, ranging from mainstream offerings from BBC, ITV and MTV to foreign language and niche content.
The device connects to a wireless network and allows the TV Go to automatically find all available channels, listed by country and genre.
The device comes with 2GB of internal flash memory and the option to connect an additional SD card, so favourite movies, music and photos can also be stored. All popular file formats are supported.
The TV Go incorporates a 3.5-inch TFT LCD and two 2W speakers. It takes four AA batteries or alternatively, can be connected via an AC/DC adapter.

The disgo TV Go is priced at £119.99 and will be available from October 2010 from Amazon.co.uk and Play.com.

disgo has also launched the £179.99 disgo Tablet 6000, an Google Android based tablet, aimed at those who want a cheaper alternative to Apple's best selling iPad.
