The designer of the original Facebook business cards, Bryan Veloso, has revealed that Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg "looked up to Steve Jobs" and has explained the story behind Zuckerberg's fabled "I'm CEO, bitch..." business cards.
Veloso wrote in a reply on Quora that the social networking site's founder: "Would hold his design meeting with us in that classic 'aggressive' Steve Jobs-style. It was during on of those meetings where I remember him first uttering the phrase, "I'm CEO, bitch..." This was about six years ago, when Facebook was a smaller business. Veloso says he "felt comfortable having fun with this tagline" in his designs for business cards, because he had a good relationship with Zuckerberg at the time.
Veloso concluded that the replacement of these business cards: "Reflected the changes a young Facebook needed to go through in order to be where it is today."
Zuckerberg has come a long way since the days of looking up to Steve Jobs. He was chosen to be Time magazine's Person of the Year in 2010, leaving Steve Jobs behind as on of the "People Who Mattered". Zuckerberg also ranks over 50 places above Jobs on the Forbes list of The World's Billionaires.
