The Flux 2007 iPod film festival is in full swing, offering its short-listed selection of short movies to website visitors for view and download.
Entries to the festival are available for download and viewing online. When downloaded these are already formatted for iPods, iTunes and (eventually) the Apple TV. The short movies (all under ten minutes in length) will be made available until 28 June.
The Flux 2007 website has also been updated, offering film fans the chance to write their own reviews l,eave messages for filmmakers, and read blogs from the filmmakers.
Winners will be decided by a combination of viewers ratings and votes from the festival jury, which includes Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, director Joe Swanberg, Emmy-nominated writer/actor Kent Osborne, Flux founder Ryan Ritchey, actress Callie Snow, former television host/writer Mike Nelson, and Wired writer and film producer Joshua Davis.
The contest is divided into three categories: student, indie and "the kitchen sink".
