Apple will implement contact search and meeting invitations within the forthcoming iPhone 2.0 software, reports claim.

The latest version of the software beta that's being circulated among enterprise developers includes the new features, and Engadget has the images to prove it.

These new images show a search bar in the Contacts menu, which is likely a replacement for the magnifying glass icon seen in the same menu during the iPhone Software announcement in March.

Meanwhile, the software also provides a drawer button which will provide access to a meeting invitation interface. Notification of new meeting invites pops-up on the Calendar icon on the main screen.
