As the alleged launch date of Apple's rumoured iPhone 5C approaches, new photographs providing evidence of the device's imminent launch have emerged online, this time showing packaging and manuals for the cheaper iPhone.

This weekend, published photographs of multiple iPhone 5Cs in their packaging. The iPhone 5Cs shown appear to be red or pink in colour, and further photographs showing blue and yellow models have been added to the article in an update. It's expected that there will be at least five colour options for the iPhone 5C.

The photos match previous packaging leaks, including the image that surfaced in July that provided the first evidence that the cheaper iPhone would be called the iPhone 5C.

In addition, photos of phone diagrams, instruction manuals, legal information and the SIM card ejection tools that appear to belong to the iPhone 5C have appeared on Chinese site Weibo, as highlighted by 9To5Mac.

The new photographs suggest that the iPhone 5C will indeed run iOS 7, as previously expected.

Both the iPhone 5C and a new, flagship iPhone supposedly called iPhone 5S, are expected to be unveiled at a 10 September special event (that's little more than a week away!) We expect to see invites for the event emerge within the coming days.
