Ambrosia has shipped iToner 1.0.5, delivering improved support for iPhone OS 1.1.1, bug fixes and improvements.
iToner lets users transfer their own existing MP3 or AAC audio to an iPhone for use as a ringtone. The new version offers French, German, and Italian localisations alongside other bug fixes and enhancements
The software supports drag-and-drop and offers an easy to use way for users to transfer music they already own to an iPhone for use as a ringtone.
Ambrosia promises that ringtones created using the new version of the application will continue to work with future iPhone OS updates.
iToner also lets users transfer ringtones in order to use the iPhone's existing software to assign specific tones to specific contacts. Users transfer their own MP3 or AAC audio files to the iPhone, and use them as custom ringtones.
The iToner 1.0.5 update is free to all registered users, and a demo version of the software is available.
