With Leopard out of its cage, Apple's technical boffins are bbusy developing the next version of iTunes, which could debut as soon as next week, a report claims.
According to Apple Insider, Apple will release iTunes 7.5 perhaps as soon as next week, though it's not expected to be a major update to the company's media software.
iTunes users can however look forward to increased stability and better management of duplicate song and video entries, the report states.
The software is also expected to address problems faced by some customers attempting to upgrade their existing purchase to the new iTunes Plus format. Some customers had reported failed downloads of their newly-purchased tracks.
The update is also expected to introduce support for the UK and German versions of the iPhone, potentially adding custom ringtone downloads to the local versions of the iTunes Store service.
