Musician Kanye West became a dad just in time for Father's Day this year, after fiancé Kim Kardashian gave birth to baby North West on 15 June. To celebrate, Kardashian gave West, who is a huge Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak fan, a pair of Apple mice signed by the Apple co-founders themselves as a Father's Day gift.

West tweeted a photograph of his Apple-centric Father's Day gift on Monday.

West's love of Jobs and Woz is no secret. In fact, Woz was one of the first people to meet West's baby daughter last month. According to Woz, Kardashian had planned to arrange for him to meet with West as a birthday present, but she then went in to labour early while Woz was visiting the couple.

"Just because [West] was interested in technology and companies, [Kardashian], as a birthday present, she had me up there to meet him," Woz told Piers Morgan in an interview for CNN's Piers Morgan Live (watch below). "Unbelievable that a woman would do that. I mean I just think she is doing everything she can to show her love to her man."

West has also been known to compare himself to Steve. In June, West told The New York Times: "I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump. I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it's like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z."

Earlier this year, during a performance in Paris, West told his audience: "I am Picasso. I am Michelangelo. I am Basquiat. I am Walt Disney. I am Steve Jobs."
