iTunes users in the US are now being offered cult Japanese Manga movies as distributor Starz signs up to join the service.

Starz makes its own television shows, making two of these plus four films from its Manga Entertainment subsidiary available through Apple's media service in the US.

The first offerings from Starz include two half-hour sitcoms, Hollywood Residential and Head Case, along with four classic Anime films: Tokko, Noein, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Tactics.

Starz is also pondering how to make its health and fitness video collections available online.
