XtremeMac introduced its latest iPod peripheral, the Luna X2 alarm clock at Macworld Expo.

This updated version of the company's existing product combines an iPod alarm clock with high-end audio performance to create a world class iPod audio system. The black and chrome system's dual alarms can be independently set to sound to iPod, radio or buzzer, with optional settings for volume, display brightness and snooze time. Additionally, users can adjust volume ramping for sleep and nap functions.

The display has a variable brightness control that can be switched off at night, and set to brighten when the alarm sounds. The system offers two full-range precision speakers and a hi-dynamic power amplifier, an AM/FM radio with eight station presets, and an auxiliary line-in jack.

Luna X2 costs $119.95, UK pricing hasn't yet been revealed.
