MySpace has secured early access to Apple's iPhone SDK, and is creating its own native application for the device, a report claims.

Few details pertaining to what the social networking service has planned for the device have emerged, but what is interesting is the news that early builds of the SDK are already doing the rounds among a small group of hand-picked developers.

It's not certain that the MySpace iPhone application will offer support for music and video playback, as both those features depend on Adobe Flash, which iPhone doesn't at this time support.

Electronista warns the new application is unlikely to show itself at Apple's iPhone SDK briefing on Thursday.
