O2 seems set to ship the iPhone in the UK.
A report on Mobile Today claims O2 secured the deal simply by accepting Apple's initial proposals. The report explains that rather than negotiate the detail, the company chose to take the deal first proposed by the iPhone maker.
This news lends weight to persistent rumours that O2 prevailed against other mobile networks in the battle to ship the device here.
Mobile Today also explains that Computer Warehouse has been working with Apple to launch an iPod and iPhone store inside a Carphone Warehouse shop on Oxford Street, London.
The magazine also speculates that the introduction of the iPhone to the UK market will be hosted at a special event at O2's huge London O2 venue in Docklands.
