Apple CEO Steve Jobs hopes that NBC Universal will reconsider its decision not to sell its content through iTunes.

In an interview with Reuters last night, Jobs said: "We hope they'll reconsider their decisions over time."

The company boss pointed to the strength of Apple's infrastructure, pointing out that iTunes has become a distribution platform that's capable of digitally distributing content to tens of millions of money-paying legitimate customers across the planet.

Jobs also stressed his opinion that iPod music and video players still have "a lot more room" to grow in.
