Supergrass will perform at Apple’s next ‘Live From London’ free music event, scheduled for 15 January.

Beginning at 9pm that day at Apple’s Regent Street store, the Oxford-based indie legends will offer up to 300 fans an intimate live set, which will be recorded for later release exclusively through the iTunes Store.

The live performance will be one of the earliest opportunities yet to take a look at the band’s latest project, Diamond Hoo Ha Men, which the group toured across seven UK venues in December 2007.

Apple will close its store two hours before the gig, advising Supergrass fans to arrive early if they want to be in with a chance of joining the select crowd.

Apple isn’t neglecting customers at its first Scottish retail store in Glasgow, Buchanan Street. Local indie sensations Finnniston will perform an in-store set there on 24 January at 7pm.
