New research from shopping website has revealed that the Apple iPad is top of the UK's Christmas wish list this year, with over a third – 37 per cent - of those surveyed wanting Apple's best selling tablet device.

In time for Christmas, Apple recently announced the ability to add a free personal laser-engraved message to your iPad via the Apple Store online. The company also operates a signature gift box service for an additional fee.

Apple took the top two slots in the survey with the iPhone 4 in second place with over a quarter – 27 per cent – of the vote.

Microsoft's much-hyped Xbox Kinect controller free console took only 5 per cent of the vote.

The survey of 3000 UK consumers was conducted in October 2010. promises to bring together the best voucher codes, 2-for-1 restaurant vouchers, printable vouchers, deals and sales for hundreds of leading online stores to help customers save money.

The company claims over 4 million unique visits a month and a user base of over 2.5 million registered members.
