Extensis has released MyPortfolio, a free version of Portfolio, its digital asset-management software.

MyPortfolio has a limited feature-set and is designed by Extensis to entice users to its new Web site portal, Creative.com.

Portfolio is used to share digital content, such as images, sounds and movies, across networks and platforms.

To download the software, users have to be registered members of Creative.com, the Web site aimed at the professional creative community, which was launched at Macworld Expo in New York last month. Membership is free, and the site offers news, reviews, resource directories, tips, software updates, and online pre-press services.
