The new magnetic chargers and shells reach customers before the iPhone 12 does.

There is still one week left before the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro arrive with customers, and around one month left before those who ordered the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12 Pro Max will receive their new phones.

However cases, the power adapter and the new MagSafe charger are already arriving.

Several US customers who ordered chargers and cases for the iPhone 12, as well as the new, magnetic MagSafe charger (£39 from Apple UK / $39 from Apple US), have already received their new products, and some are sharing photos on Twitter.

The MagSafe charger uses the standard qi standard and can be used with any wireless product that supports qi. However, the magnetic alignment (borrowed by the MacSafe power adapter used by older Mac laptops) only works with the iPhone 12 models.

Belkin has already announced a range of MagSafe chargers, more here.
