If you were hoping that the new Phone for 2020 would feature a smaller notch you will be disappointed. It appears we will have to wait another year before the notch gets any smaller.

Technology leaker Ice Universe claims that the sensor panel - aka notch - on the iPhone 13 will be smaller compared to the iPhone 12.

It will not be a reduction in width, but in height.

It is unclear whether the change in notch size will apply to all iPhone 13 models or only the smaller 5.4in model.

An analyst has already revealed that 2021's iPhone 13 models screens will offer a refresh rate of 120 hertz, which will result in an image that is more comfortable to look at.

Update: In April 2021 a bunch of renders were shared by Indian site 91Mobiles showing a smaller notch, more here: More iPhone 13 renders appear showing smaller notch.
