Adobe is prepared to sue Microsoft if EU regulators fail to ensure that Vista doesn't shut out rival developers.

Adobe CEO Bruce Chizen told Sonntag that his company is presently working with European competition authorities to provide information on any anti-competitive steps within Vista.

But if that fails, then he's prepared to consider a direct lawsuit against Microsoft, which is introducing its own attempt to create a PDF competitor in Vista.

In related news, Chizen also revealed that the company is looking at offering some software for photo and video editing using the internet, on an ads-supported model, Reuters explains.
