Adobe's R&D department, Adobe Labs, has released a series of tools aimed at users of InDesign and Soundbooth - plus a migration tool for owners of Pixmantec's RawShooter.
The Adobe InDesign Plug-in Editor is a suite of tools for developing InDesign plug-ins, made available on the Eclipse platform. It provides functionality for graphical editing of InDesign plug-in FR UI resources and context-sensitive, error-aware, text editing of InDesign FR files. Users can create new plug-ins or modify existing ones.
One of the new features in Soundbooth is the AutoComposer, which allows users to quickly customize music to fit the mood of their production. The new Soundbooth AutoComposer Toolkit includes the tools and documentation necessary for content developers to create their own Soundbooth Scores for use with the Soundbooth AutoComposer feature.
Just over a year ago, Adobe acquired RawShooter-developer Pixmantec. Adobe Labs has now released a tool that allows users of Pixmantec RawShooter Premium and Pixmantec RawShooter Essentials to migrate their content to Adobe's other imaging products. The Pixmantec RawShooter Migration Tool prerelease, now available on Adobe Labs, is a utility that provides a way to migrate RawShooter settings to visually similar settings within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw.
The download and concise instructions are available within the Labs wiki.
