Adobe's event for developers and web designers, MAX Europe 2007, opens next month in Barcelona.
The event runs between 12-15 October and aims to help web professionals develop their skills in designing, developing and delivering web experiences to multiple devices.
The event series begins in Chicago between 30 September and 3 October, before moving across the Atlantic to Barcelona. It then rolls into Tokyo between 1-2 November.
Adobe will also announce the winners of the prestigious MAX awards at the Chicago event. Now in its fifth year, the MAX Awards recognise the most groundbreaking work of leading designers and developers from around the world.
"MAX has a mix of energy, ideas and attendee expertise that is totally unique in the software industry," said Kevin Lynch, senior vice-president and chief software architect for Adobe. "MAX brings together the Adobe community, creating an environment for designers and developers to discover new technologies, delivery channels and business opportunities and immerse themselves in an incredibly inspiring group of peers."
MAX Europe will feature keynotes from Adobe executives, more than 200 technical sessions, partner exhibits, a "sneak-peek" emerging technology session, birds-of-a-feather networking events, presentations from industry experts and a full day of hands-on workshops.
"MAX offers an open exchange of ideas and the opportunity to be part of a broader ecosystem," added Lynch. "We're facilitating an open dialogue that addresses the widest range of technologies used by designers and developers to improve user experiences in every medium."
