Adobe has updated Photoshop CS3 to version 10.0.1, though the update has seemingly since disappeared from the company's servers.

As introduced, the latest version fixes several bugs and applies specific improvements to areas of the application.

For example, the Save for Web tool now offers the option to include XMP metadata in the settings menu within the 'Save' interface. XMP data can now be included in the optimised file.

Print colour matching has been improved; and images saved as DICOM and reopened in Photoshop CS3 are no longer corrupted on PowerPC-based Macs.

However, existing links to the download description page are no longer functioning, though brief descriptions of the update do show up in Adobe site search results.
