Apple has published another in its series of Aperture tutorials.
The tutorial explains how to use the software to support a "tethered workflow", in which Aperture can be used to set up a workflow that automatically imports images into a project.
The solution uses an Automator script to automatically monitor a folder. As new image files land in the folder, they are despatched to Aperture. This means photographers can leave their camera connected to their Mac during a photo shoot, so they can check the results on-screen as they proceed.
