Apple has released a wave of software updates.

Backup 3.1.2 (6.3MB) includes reliability improvements and improves compatibility with Leopard and iWork '08. It is is highly recommended for all users of Backup 3.

Server Admin Tools 10.5: The Server Administration Software installer contains remote administration tools, documentation, and utilities that you can install on a computer other than your server. It's designed for use with Macs or Xserves running Mac OS X Server.

Apple has also introduced Aperture 1.5.6 Update, a weighty 130.6MB update that addresses issues related to performance, improves overall stability, and supports compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5, 'Leopard'.

Finally, Apple has also introduced Login & Keychain Update 1.0, which it recommends for all Mac OS X Leopard users. The 10MB update addresses issues user may find when:

- Logging in with an account originally created in Mac OS X 10.1 or earlier that has a password of eight or more characters.
- Connecting to some 802.11b/g wireless networks.
- Changing the password of a FileVault-protected account.
