Apple has released a point update for Aperture, version 2.0.1.
Aperture 2.0.1 (43.9MB) addresses issues related to performance and overall stability. It also fixes a number of other minor issues and is recommended for all Aperture users.
Introduced last month Aperture 2.0 boasts hundreds of new features, an improved user interface and a brand new image processing engine. Aperture 2 also provides new imaging tools for highlight recovery, colour vibrancy, local contrast definition, soft-edged retouching, vignetting and RAW fine-tuning, and enables users to post portfolios directly to the .Mac Web Gallery.
Owners of previous versions of Aperture can upgrade to Aperture 2 for £65, otherwise the software costs £129. A free trial of Aperture 2 is available direct from Apple.
