MetaCommunications has introduced a new automated billing system within Job Manager 4.5, its financial productivity management solution.
Job Manager helps users create estimates and quotes, monitor job costs, generate on-demand reporting and invoices, and share information with most accounting systems.
The software's billing system has been entirely rewritten and is now browser based, compatible with Safari, Internet Explorer, and Firefox on both Mac OS X and Windows.
The system includes a simpler user interface, offers automated invoicing designed specifically for creative and prepress organizations and supports both partial and progressive invoicing. Multi-page custom invoices and reports are now supported.
Built-in support for Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, MYOB, and Peachtree lets users export billing information into some of the most popular accounts solutions.
Job Manager is part of the company's Workgroups 2007 suite, a modular system lets users work with any or all of the four available applications: Job Manager, Virtual Ticket, Approval Manager and Digital Storage Manager.
