Brian Eno has turned to Macs to drive his latest art installation, 77 Million Paintings.
The creation, which Eno describes as "sculptures of sight and sound", will be hosted at the Long Now Foundation.
The exhibition consists of "stunning works ...a combination of constantly evolving images and sounds, all controlled by a massive bank of Macs."
Eno assembled a number of coloured slides and built software to display these images as randomly overlapping sculptures of colour and light. He also put together a similar collection of ambient sounds which are also played at random.
Wired is hosting a collection of images to explain the exhibit.
