Econ Technologies has updated its automated synchronisation and back-up solution, ChronoSync, to version 3.3.6.
The release introduced Leopard compatibility and a new installer for the $30application, which runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and also supports Mac OS X 10.3 and Mac OS X 10.4.
Leopard specific fixes include correcting a problem where new file attributes introduced with Leopard would show files out of sync when they were still in-sync and added logic to automatic server mounting to deal with differences identifying and mounting servers under Leopard.
ChronoSync will synchronise files and folders between multiple Macs, PCs, external hard drives and iPods. This operation can be scheduled for specific times, and the software is capable of automatically mounting volumes in order to perform the operation. The software also lets users exclude files from a back-up or sync operation.
