Synium Software's CleanApp 2.0 is available now.
The most important change in version 2.0 is the revolutionary new logging service, which enables CleanApp to completely remove applications and all of their hidden support files.
Until now, CleanApp has used an 'identifier-key' to detect an application's associated files. Without such a key, the software was unable to identify an application's associated files, and so unable to remove the complete set of files and folders.
Once the logging feature is installed and to activated, the function runs in the background of Mac OS X, tracking all new files and folders created when new software is installed. Should a user later wish to remove that software, the application can consult the log to track down associated files.
