FileMaker is today shipping the final release version of its personal database solution, Bento.
The Leopard-only software is designed to help Mac users organise contacts, calendars, projects, events and much more from within its smooth and easy-to-navigate interface.
Since the public preview of Bento began on 13 November, over 140,000 copies have been downloaded.
Among other things, users can track projects and deadlines, use the software for task prioritisation and management and the creation and management of large collections of media (music, images, video).
Bento costs just £29 (including VAT), or £59 (including VAT) for a family pack of five licenses, and is available from FileMaker, Apple and "other places where software is sold," the company explained.
