Chronos has introduced Soho Organizer 6.0, calling this a major upgrade to its productivity suite.

The new version makes sharing calendars and despatching automated reminders easier than before.

For users who like to get things done, Soho Organizer is designed for both individual and workgroup use. The release offers a host of stability and usability improvements, alongside support for the new and powerful CalDAV calendaring standard.

Vice president of development at Chronos, Robert McCullough said: "Soho Organizer 6 is the most connected organizer available for Mac. Not only can you share calendars among co-workers using it, but you can publish and subscribe to calendars on the internet. Plus, it is the first Mac information manager to support CalDAV, which is just starting to come onto the scene strong."

The newly-emerging CalDAV standard lets users both publish calendars, events, and tasks on the internet and then collaborate on them with others. CalDAV is an open standard calendar access protocol (read/write access)that allows access to calendars that are in the popular iCalendar format over the WebDAV extensions to the HTTP protocol.

A fully functional 30 day trial version of the $99.99 application is available for download from the company website.
