Google is expected to introduce complete Mac support within Google Gadgets for Google Desktop for Mac later today.

This move means Mac users will be able to access the gamut of Google Gadgets (small mini web applications) as well as all the Apple Dashboard Widgets already supported by the operating system.

Mac users can get desktop access to Google Gadgets, in addition they can be accessed online and through the Google Desktop.

"For users, this means they can install hundreds of Google Gadgets with just one click and run them in Dashboard. They can also use Gadgets to enhance their personal Web sites by copying and pasting the HTML into the page's source code," Google told News.com. Gadgets can also be implemented within websites.

Developers can create one set of gadgets that will work on both PC and Mac platforms.
