IBM has released Lotus Notes 7.0.2 for Mac OS X, offering Mac users all the features of the popular enterprise software.
Lotus Notes ($101) includes tools for instant messaging, presence awareness, RSS and blogging support. Users can group emails into conversations, and access a range of collaboration tools.
Speaking before today's software release on 30 November, Jason Dumont, IBM senior product manager, said: "The Lotus Notes 7.0.2 client for the Mac is geared toward helping people manage the information pouring into their in-boxes, so they can spot top-priority work faster and quickly connect with the information and people they need to get that work done."
Lotus Notes 7.0.2 Mac arrives soon after the release of Lotus Domino Web Access 7.0.2 – the first release of Lotus Domino Web Access to run on the Mac. Lotus Domino Web Access is a high-function browser-based client for Lotus Domino-based messaging and collaboration services.
