The inaugural meeting of the first ever UK Adobe InDesign user group takes place in London on 16 October.

The independent user group hopes to bring users together in a forum in which they can share information and learn more about the software and the wider publishing industry.

Adobe is supporting the formation of the group, sending InDesign product manager Michael Ninnes along to speak at the first meeting. Ninnes will offer tips and techniques and explain the new features of InDesign CS3.

The meeting takes place at 6pm on 16 October at the International Coffee Organisation, 22 Berners Street, London.

The user group will run quarterly meetings throughout the year and attendance is free. Those interested in joining the user group should visit the group's website, where they there will also have access to the InDesign news and online tutorials and demos.
