Quark has launched its new 'Love' campaign, a multi-channel marketing campaign "designed to persuade users to fall in love with QuarkXPress all over again".
As part of this new campaign, customers who upgrade or purchase new full copies of QuarkXPress 7 will also receive the following products free: Quark Interactive Designer for outputting SWF (Flash) files, Quark XPert Tools Pro and Markzware's ID2Q for converting InDesign files (including the new CS3 format) to QuarkXPress 7 projects.
Quark is also offering a free, 30-day trial version of QuarkXPress 7.3. The ads campaign is focused on four key XPress features: transparency, drop shadows, enhanced PDF export support, and Photoshop integration.
"When users occasionally receive files in InDesign format, the time and cost of converting these files into QuarkXPress can be substantial; however, the cost and time of learning InDesign can be even more prohibitive," said Gavin Drake, Quark's European marketing director.
"By offering ID2Q with QuarkXPress 7, users now have a quick and easy way to convert InDesign files into QuarkXPress 7 projects and work within their preferred page layout tool."
