Quark will unveil the latest update to its Quark Publishing System (QPS 7) at this year's IfraExpo and conference in Vienna between October 8-11.

QPS is a collaborative workflow system used by newspapers and major corporate publishers. Visitors to IfraExpo will have the chance to take a look at the next generation of the system, which enables customers to simplify their editorial and creative processes by connecting people and tasks in a virtual workplace.

QPS 7 includes a host of new and enhanced features, aimed at streamlining editorial and creative workflow processes while improving production.

The software now offers support for QuarkXPress 7 and QuarkCopyDesk 7, and has been completely re-engineered based on open standard technologies, such as Java and Service Oriented Architecture.

Quark experts will present the technical advancements of QPS 7 and provide live demonstrations at the Quark booth in hall A, booth 620.

The Quark booth will feature a number of Quark partners, who will be demonstrating complimentary solutions integrating with QuarkXPress, QPS and QuarkXPress Server. These include A&F Computersysteme, picturesafe, CoDesCo IT Consulting, e-nvention, Extensis Europe and InterRed.
