Red Giant has upgraded its family of "professional-calibre" mobile apps with the release of Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD. Red Giant has added more features to the tool for adding sophisticated colour styings to video, making the app easier to use, and is bringing full support to the iPad.

Based on the pro-level Magic Bullet Suite colour correction plug-in set for tools such as Final Cut Pro and After Effects, Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD allows you to 'treat' video to make it resemble anything from a Technicolor film to CSI.

Movie Looks now comes with 40 Looks, including the Blockbuster and Black and White packs that were previously paid-for add-ons. It supports portrait videos as well as landscape, videos up to five minutes in length, and has a fully optimised engine and interface for the iPad, including support for iPad 2. Updated trimming and frame selector screens simplify movie setup.

Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD will cost £1.19/US$1.99 from the Apple App Store.
